Functieprofielen voor ICT-Professionals: vandaag en in de toekomst
Abstract
De ICT-sector is momenteel goed voor 5% van het Europese bbp met een jaarlijkse marktwaarde van ongeveer 660 miljard euro. De sector is dus uitermate belangrijk voor onze economie. Vraag is echter welke ICT-skills wij in de toekomst effectief nodig zullen hebben ?
Prof.dr. Dirk Deschoolmeester geeft een korte intro. Daarna komen verschillende sprekers hun ervaringen meedelen in functies die meer en meer in de belangstelling treden: Social Media Coördinator (Hattie Knuts, KBC Group), Security Officer (Kris Hallaert, Elia), Infrastructure Architect (Jos Poelmans, Objectief15), Mobile Developer (Thomas Mons, The Reference), Data Scientist (Bram Van Schoenwinkel, AE) en Business Architect (Steven De Cock, KBC)
Iedere spreker licht toe wat de functie inhoudt, hoe hij/zij de functie in de toekomst ziet evolueren, welke de vereiste kwalificaties zijjn, en welke relaties met andere functies moeten onderhouden worden.

Spreker(s)
In 2000 Bram graduated as Master in Computer Sciences. He started his professional career as a researcher in the Computational Modeling Lab at the University of Brussels. In 2006 Bram obtained a PhD in Machine Learning (Data Mining). After his PhD Bram started working as a Management Consultant specialized in Business Process Management, Process Optimization and Organizational Development. It is in this period that Bram first started using Process Mining as an analysis technique. Since April 2012 he is working as a Principal Consultant at AE where he is also responsible for the Business Intelligence and Data Analytics offering.
